General: All pups sold will be registered (or in process) with the ABA, and a vaccination record shall be supplied. No puppy shall be released to Buyer until paid in full. The Breeder has no liability for any injury to a puppy after delivery, or for shipping by plane- once placed on the aircraft. The Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a veterinarian within 48 hours of delivery to maintain guarantee. If the puppy is found to be anything other than healthy by the Buyers certified veterinarian, it shall be returned to the Breeder immediately, and the Puppy will be replaced with one of the same sex, age and value as soon as one becomes available. The Breeder reserves the right to have Puppy examined by their own veterinarian. All shipping costs will be absorbed by the Buyer. All males are sold with two stud services back to us at our expense (vet collection and shipping fees- only if applicable).
Genetic Guarantee: All prospective working/show/breeding quality Puppies are sold with a replacement guarantee valid for one year from date of purchase. This replacement guarantee is for the following genetic defects: crossed eyes, deafness, epilepsy and hip dysplasia (defined as a rating of "Fail" in Preliminary OFA rating, or Pennhip score greater than .69 average). Puppies sold as "pets" and/or for $900 or less are not guaranteed, as well as ANY Puppy that has been bred before one year of age. For any of these symptoms qualifying for replacement, a written statement from a certified veterinarian is required by the Breeder at the buyers expense. We reserve the right to have the Puppy in question confirmed by a vet of our choice. Once confirmed, it will be required that the Puppy be either euthanized, or spayed/neutered and kept by the Buyer as a pet (At the breeder's discretion). If euthanized, certification must be provided by a certified veterinarian to the breeder in order to get a replacement. The Replacement Puppy will be of the same breed, sex and as the original puppy unless otherwise agreed to by both parties. Absolutely no cash refunds will be given.
Temperament: We will not replace any pups for temperament reasons. There are just too many variables, and outside influences, affecting a puppy's temperament. We strongly encourage that the puppy be well socialized to help in establishing a favorable temperament and disposition.
Deposits: The deposit required for a pup on an upcoming breeding will be $300. Breeder determines time of picks. The deposit is non-refundable, should the Buyer back-out of the purchase. In the event a buyer places a deposit, and cannot pay for the puppy in full by the time the puppy is ready to go (as communicated by the Breeder). The Buyer will have (7) calendar days to pay in full, or deposit will be forfeited and the Puppy sold to another Prospective Buyer. Whether for an upcoming breeding, or placing a deposit on an existing pup before it is time to be placed, deposits are nonrefundable.
Stud Services: Our Studs are for hire to approved females. We guarantee a litter (litter defined as at least one pup born), or a repeat breeding will be performed. We can ship chilled semen (all collection and vet costs incurred by the owner of female).
